TCMpartners and Finastra, official sponsors of the 41st Latin American Congress on Foreign Trade – CLACE 2025
We are proud to announce that TCMpartners, in collaboration with Finastra, participated as an official sponsor of the 41st Latin American Foreign Trade Congress (CLACE) 2025, organized by the Latin American Banking Federation (FELABAN) and the Panamanian Banking Association.
CLACE is one of the most important international trade events in Latin America, bringing together leaders, experts, and representatives from the financial, banking, and commercial sectors to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in foreign trade. This congress represents a key platform for knowledge exchange, the creation of strategic alliances, and the strengthening of the regional ecosystem.
During the event, Rafael Sainz, CEO and co-founder of TCMpartners, gave a keynote address, "The Future of Money," exploring the evolution of payment methods from barter to digital currencies. In his presentation, he addressed the concept of the Flower of Money as a model for analyzing the convergence between traditional and emerging payment methods, highlighting the role of CBDCs (digital currencies issued by central banks), the transformation of infrastructure under the ISO 20022 standard, and the key factors leading to a more agile, transparent, and secure payment system on a global scale.
Additionally, TCMpartners and Finastra hosted the Congress's official luncheon, a networking event where key industry players discussed payments innovation and the latest trends in trade finance in Latin America.
Throughout the day, our teams were present at the TCMpartners and Finastra booths, sharing perspectives on digital transformation in banking, international payments, ISO 20022, and the opportunities for growth for financial institutions in the region.
We are honored to have participated in this high-level meeting, reaffirming our commitment to the development of foreign trade and the modernization of the Latin American financial system.
